Paint it Black

The other evening as I was leaving the pet store, I noticed the clouds in the sky were that ominous shade of almost-black. It was that color you get when rinsing off a paintbrush, of so many colors, in that one mason jar of what used to be clear water. A shade that isn't quite black, purple or brown... Just swirly and inky. It looked eerie and dooming, but I loved it. I love the rain... Just hate driving in it.
